Travis W. Harris passed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Travis was born on May 9, 1962 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Ted B. Harris and Dorothy Crane Harris.
Travis was a lifelong resident of Burkburnett, graduating from BHS in 1981. He and his siblings and cousins spent summers at the Crane family farm in Bridgetown. Travis worked as a truck driver until his health declined in 2015.
Travis loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends. Travis and Wade fulfilled a childhood dream of riding to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in 2009.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ted B. Harris; his sister, Jacque Holdaway; his paternal grandparents, Andrew and Ruby Harris; his maternal grandparents, Newton and Lois Crane; his aunts, Francis Smith and June Clinton; his uncles, Dude Smith, Jim Harris (Mary), and Johnny Crane (Shirley); his cousin, Mark Smith; and his nephew, Danny Williams Jr.
Travis is survived by his mother, Dorothy Crane Harris of Burkburnett; his step-mother, Shirley Harris of LaGrande, OR; his brother, Wade Harris (DeeDee) of Burkburnett; sister, Lisa Price, and Jennifer Harris (Scott Minard) all of Burkburnett; brother-in-law, Fred Holdaway of Choctaw, OK; his step-children that he loved as his own: Misty Swearingen of Wichita Falls, Larry Don Greenway (Brie) of Burkburnett, and Jennifer Adams (Dane) of Midland; step-sister, Lajuana Roberts; step-brother, Tim Roberts; nieces, Riley Weiss, and Morgan Spires; nephew, Scottie Williams; and great-nephews. Baylor and Denton Spires. Travis was "Pappy-T" to his grandchildren and was very proud of all of them: Trip, Seattle, Sierra, Serenity, Bailey, and Taylor. He is also survived by many cousins that he grew up and family that he loved, and all the friends he made in his lifetime.

A Celebration of Travis' life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett.
