Debra “Joy” Dail, age 62, of Wichita Falls, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 10, 2024.
She was born on November 15, 1961 in Sumter, South Carolina to Clark Wilson and Nancy (Elam) Wilson. Joy married the love of her life, Roger Dail on August 13, 1983. God provided them with two children. She served as an active military spouse for 20 years, participated in a Puppet Ministry and delighted in packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. She has always had a heart for children and could play like no one else.
Joy is survived by husband Roger, daughter Nikki Lewis ( and husband/son Calvin), daughter Brandy Dail and granddaughters Mykila and Lynnzee Lewis. Those remaining to cherish her memory include mother Nancy Wilson, brother Mike Wilson (and wife/sister Millie), sister Diann Goodman (and husband Gayle), 3 nephews and 1 niece.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, from 2-5 pm at Faith Baptist Church.
A service to celebrate Joy’s life will be held Wednesday, July 17, at 10 am in the sanctuary of Faith Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Larry Shields.
