2023: What if we do a bike event, they said. It'll be fun, they said.
2024: What if we add walking and running to the bike event, they said. It'll be great! they said.
As you may know, MusicWorks - Al and my nonprofit music school - was folded into LivingWorks (which has provided tutoring, mentoring, and special activities through "AfterSchool" for 25 years!) a couple of years ago. It's been great! Al and I get to provide one-on-one music lessons, group classes, and a jam session for anyone in our community. More than half our our students are able to take lessons because of the scholarships we offer. We're so glad to give them the joy of making music -- thank you for helping make that possible!
I've been looking forward to the ride, but I have a "full disclosure" caveat: I've been having a terrible time with some lower back issues - I'm in physical therapy twice a week - so I don't know if I'll be able to ride much. Mostly I'll be WORKING at the ride, but I am determined to get on that route some time during BikeWorks!
