BARTLEY, Terrance Oliver August 24, 1948 - December 3, 2018
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Terry at the age of 70. He passed peacefully at his home in Ottawa, Ontario after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Terry was born in Flin Flon, Manitoba and grew up in Saskatoon where he began his career as an Air Traffic Controller. This job soon took him and his family to Winnipeg, where he resided for many years until his final move to Ottawa and his eventual retirement.
As a participant and fan, Terry loved all sports but his greatest passion was fishing. Straight forward and loyal, down to earth and caring, a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother and friends, Terry will be greatly missed.
He was predeceased by his father Wesley in 1988. He leaves behind the love of his life, wife and soul mate Peggy McCann, his mother Gladys Bartley, his daughters Stacey Conway, Marcy (Pat) Hubel and Jenifer Bartley. His stepchildren Tyler (Amy) Wood, and Erin (Mark) Oakley. His grandchildren, Grayson Tasman, Garett, Kiera and Bryson. Siblings, sister Judy Penrod, brothers Wayne (Ida), Laird (Chris), Kelvin (Brenda) as well as many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Terry's life will be held in Ottawa on December 12 and a private family gathering at a later date in Saskatoon. In lieu of flowers donations to Seat Campaign at Friends of Bowl Foundation (Gordie Howe Sports Complex) in Terry's name would be greatly accepted. To make a donation, go to www.friendsofbowl.com
Don't worry or feel sad for me, I'm fishin' with the Master of the sea.

I would like to send condolences to the Bartley family. We were neighbors and spent many hours hanging out with the Bartley kids. Terry will be fondly remembered.
