VINDEG, Lyle January 9, 1947 - September 5, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Lyle Vindeg on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at the age of 72.
Lyle was born in Lucky Lake, SK and grew up on a farm outside of Demaine, SK. Lyle was a carpenter his whole life and worked 40 years for the City of Saskatoon Public School Board in the maintenance department. He was surrounded by loved ones, watching his 2 favorite NFL football teams - the Packers and the Bears, when he passed away.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Yvette and four children John (Leona) Vindeg, Stephanie (Adam) Hall, Nicole (Brian) Moir, and Angela (Andrew) Vancha; his twelve grandchildren, his mother Evelyn Vindeg, and his siblings Allan (Linda) Vindeg, Roland (Marlys) Vindeg, and Joanne (Randy) Kuruliak, as well as his many nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his father Marv Vindeg, father and mother-in-law (Raoul and Marie Clavelle) and his brother-in-law Raoul Jr. Clavelle.
The funeral service will be held on September 13, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Parish (1902 Munroe Avenue, Saskatoon). Service will be followed by a lunch at the church and the interment of his remains at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (210 Wess Rd., Saskatoon). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Close-to-Home Campaign for Hospice and End-of-Life Care www.stpaulshospital.org or by calling (306) 655-5821.
