ZUROWSKI, JOYCE June 14, 1929 - October 19, 2019
Joyce was born and grew up in Saskatoon, attended Bedford Road Collegiate and College of Arts and Science at University of Saskatchewan, and worked as a laboratory technician upon graduation. Upon marriage to Rudy Zurowski (Southey, SK) they moved to Halifax, N.S., then to Endwell, NY, Sindelfingen Germany, and finally to Virginia. She maintained contact with many childhood and school friends throughout most of her long and fruitful life, and she and Rudy faithfully drove back to the prairies for many years to keep in contact with family and old friends and neighbours.
Predeceased by parents Pater and Isobel Denholm, and by Rudy, she leaves her loving family, Gail Mayo (Mike) of North Carolina, David Zurowski ,(Cathy) and Jennifer Zurowski, and grandchildren Megan and Kate, all of Virginia, grandson Michael, N. Carolina, and her brother David (Grace) in Edmonton.
A private funeral service will be held.
