Morris Holodniuk passed away peacefully on October 7, 2021 at the age of 77 years.
For the last 25 years Morris was suffering from Parkinson's Disease. In 1982 Morris married the love of his life, Lovina, and they enjoyed 30 years together.
Morris grew up in Saskatoon, and attended Bedford Road Collegiate. He started his work career in the shoe retail business and then transitioned to caretaking services at the University of Saskatchewan until his retirement.
Morris is survived by his sister Elsie Ouellette, parents-in-law Elias and Lilleth Shantz, sister-in-law Lorraine Shantz (Pierre Vallee), brother-in-law Mervin (Colleen) Shantz, brother-in-law Harvey (Pam) Shantz, very good friend Peter Harnestone, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Morris is predeceased by his wife Lovina Holodniuk, parents Paul and Katherine Holodniuk, sister Nadine Patisney, brother Bill (Terry) Holodniuk, and brother-in-law Ken Ouellette.
Morris spent the last several years in assisted living centres - Ashton Care Home and most recently Central Haven Special Care Home. The family would like to thank the staff at both places for their compassionate care of Morris. A private funeral service to celebrate Morris's life will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
