Mabel passed away peacefully on September 18, 2018 surrounded by her family at the Royal University Hospital at the age of 93.
Left to mourn her passing are her daughter Shelley and her partner Dawn, nieces Michelle, Chris, Debbie and Donna, cousins Josalynn, Madeleine and their families.
Mabel was born in Saskatoon and attended St. Mary's Elementary School and Bedford Road Collegiate. After high school, she worked as a seamstress for most of her adult life. She and her husband Wilfred retired to Delaronde Lake in 1993 where they resided until his passing in 2007.
Mabel was predeceased by her husband Wilfred, her daughter Sherry, her parents Alex and Marie Ouellette, and her siblings Carl, Vickie and Leslie.
A Liturgy of the Word will be held at Park Funeral Home on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with interment of Mabel's ashes to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
