HUNTER, Donald Joseph April 6, 1941 - May 28, 2015
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden, yet peaceful, passing of Don Hunter, at the age of 74.
He was a sports lover, a Saskatoon Hilltop Hall-of-Famer, as well as a successful Teacher and Vice Principal. Don was born in Davidson, SK, but lived most of his life in Saskatoon, apart from a couple years that he spent teaching in Swift Current, SK and Baden, Germany on the Canadian Forces Base.
He attended Bedford Road Collegiate and attained his Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
Don will be loved and missed by many friends and family including his loving partner Elizabeth Ahenakew; his sons Trent (Kathleen Ramsay) of Cobourg, ON and Todd (Jill Harmon) of Calgary, AB; as well as grandchildren Amanda, Brandon and Jenna; and his special friend Jordan. Don will also be loved and remembered by his sister, Sharon (Brian Ironside) of Edmonton, AB and brother Raymond (Kim) of Richmond, BC.
At Don's request, there will not be a service at this time, but we ask you to remember him in your own special way.
