With sorrow, thankfulness and love, the family of Nancy shares that her soul left her body peacefully at her home in Ottawa on December 28, 2012.
Nancy was born on August 30, 1960. She spent most of her childhood in Uranium City. She also attended Bedford Road Collegiate. Nancy was kind, gentle, loyal and very courageous.
She will always be loved and cherished by her family, mother, Margaret Munro; father, John Stobbe; brothers, Earl and Mark Stobbe; sister Jane (Ken) Atchison; nieces Amy and Sarah; nephews Jes, Jake and Nick. She also had a special bond with faithful cousin, Darlene.
There will be a Memorial Service and Celebration held in the spring at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Saskatoon. Memorial donations would be gratefully accepted by Cornerstone Housing for Women, 324 Booth St., Ottawa, ON K1R 7K2. Nancy's family would appreciate online messages through The StarPhoenix Guestbook.
