FAULKNER, Ella Marion (Teakles) January 27, 1911 - December 20, 2010
Ella was predeceased by her brother (Howard Teakles), her husband, Art, and daughter Joanne.
She is survived by her sons Chuck (Pat) and Bob (Wendy); six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Ella was born in Aylesbury, Saskatchewan. She moved to Saskatoon as a teenager and attended Bedford Road Collegiate. She married Art in 1937; and they had a wonderful 65 years of marriage. Ella had a strong faith, and was a long-time active member of Grace-Westminster Church. Although her physical capacity declined over the past few years, she maintained a sharp mind, and keen sense of humor.
The family in particular would like to thank the staff at Oliver Lodge for their care and compassion over the past two years. A celebration of Ella's life will be held on Thursday, January 6th, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Saskatoon Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Oliver Lodge Angels of Care campaign would be appreciated. Condolences may be sent to mail@saskatoonfuneralhome.com.
