The death of Kathleen Matley, age 84 years of Saskatoon, occurred on Wednesday, December 19, 2007.
Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery on Monday, December 24, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Friends wishing to attend may meet at the entrance to the cemetery at 12:45 p.m. The Service of Remembrance will be held at the chapel of the Saskatoon Funeral Home on Monday, December 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m.
Kathleen was born in Ireland on December 21, 1922. At the age of two she came with her family to Canada, to Saskatoon where she attended Pleasant Hill and Bedford Road schools. Kathleen worked for many years at Massey-Ferguson. She married Arthur Matley in 1962 and they continued to live in Saskatoon. They moved to the Luther Tower in 1999 and had resided there until her passing. She was an active member of the Fairhaven Bible Chapel and was active in children and ladies activities there. Kathleen leaves her husband, Arthur; her son, Edward Matley; and her daughter, Iris Clark of Ottawa; as well as many cousins.
