As a couple, they enjoyed bowling, playing cards with friends but what they especially enjoyed was their many travelling trips.
As a child, Grace had many fond memories of her family camping trips to Waskesiu Lake. Years later she enjoyed their cabin at Meeting Lake where she took delight in feeding "booglie wooglie" the resident squirrel. She is fondly remembered for her many family suppers. She was talented at setting a beautiful table, cooking a great meal and enjoying lively family conversation. Afterwards, lighting the fireplace and playing board games were much enjoyed activities.
