MESSAROS, Anita Lillian (nee Jorgenson)
Passed away suddenly in her home on June 24, 2020.
Predeceased by her parents Oscar and Velma Jorgenson and sister Elma Jurva (Wally). She leaves her daughter Carol Koehn (nee Jorgenson), granddaughter Cheraley Jorgenson-Harbaruk, sisters Rosanna Jorgenson-Mills (Jack), Olga Goddard, Aleta Jorgenson, Donna Jorgenson, Brenda-Lee Rowley (Ray), brothers Les Jorgenson (Dianne), Allan Jorgenson (Stephanie), Vance Jorgenson (LeAnne), Dean Jorgenson (Pam), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Born in Saskatoon on November 18, 1953. Anita attended Westmount Elementary School and Bedford Road Collegiate. She worked as a bookkeeper, had a passion for cooking, fishing and crafts, enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She took pleasure in visiting Asquith and taking pictures of the old farmhouse that her parents and older siblings lived in. She kept a tidy home and took great pride in her organizational skills. She had a genuine heart, kind soul, and a playful sense of humor. She loved decorating on special occasions, wearing fun costumes and appreciated pretty shoes, scarves and hats. Those who knew her will remember how thoughtful and gracious she was.
