LEE, Barbara (nee Pritchard) April 24, 1929 - October 27, 2017
Barbara's family is saddened to announce her passing at the age of 88.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Gerry. She will be lovingly remembered by her four children, Rick (Sharilyn) Lee; Bob (Donna) Lee; Peggy (Bob Simpson); and Sherri (Claude Storey); her grandchildren, Kathryn, Jenna (Brian Karwacki); Aaron (Jess); Michael (Jess); Chris (Jane); Nick (Brooklyn); Leanne (JC Jenson); Laura (Dylan); Megan, Ethan, Cole, Chelsey and Courtney and 8 great-grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by her sister Jeanne Hargreaves of Saskatoon and brother George (Thea) Pritchard of Victoria, BC and numerous nieces and nephews and special friends.
Barb was born in Saskatoon on April 24, 1929 and attended Westmount and Bedford Road Collegiate. She was a stay at home mother. Barb loved sports, playing Badminton at the Saskatoon Badminton Club for many years. She was also an avid golfer and played many rounds at the Candle Lake Golf Course. Mom and Dad also enjoyed their Candle Lake cabin immensely. Mom and Dad were long time members of the Saskatoon Cosmopolitan Club of Saskatoon and were also long time members of St. Timothy's Anglican Church. Mom and Dad had a love for travelling and were fortunate to travel to many different countries over the years.
The family is very appreciative of the support and friendship extended to Barb over the last five years at Sunnyside Nursing Home. A celebration of Barb's life will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at The Emmanuel Anglican Church, 607 Dufferin Avenue (corner of 12th Street and Dufferin Ave). Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to a charity of your choice.
