ANDERSON, RUSSELL DONALD January 8, 1925 - October 5, 2012
Russ Anderson passed away peacefully at Evergreen Baptist Care Home in White Rock B.C. on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 surrounded by loving family.

Russell was born in Langham, Sask. and attended Westmount School and Bedford Road Collegiate in Saskatoon. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in WWII. After the war he worked for McKenzie Auto Equipment where he met Audrey Jean Spurgeon who became his loving wife of 57 years. After a 25 year career in Saskatoon, Yorkton and Regina he moved on to join Murray Real Estate in Saskatoon and then to manage the 8th St. office of Royal Lepage Real Estate, where he also served a term as President of the Saskatoon Real Estate Board. Russ was also a long time active member of Riversdale Kiwanis club.

Russell will be lovingly remembered by sons Bob (Bev) and Rick (Sandy), grandchildren Chris and Carolyn (Vic), great-grandchildren Felix and Elyse, brothers Cliff (Betty), Morris (Betty), Al (Joan), brother-in-law Bob Spurgeon (Justina), sister-in-law Elsie Spurgeon and numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Russ was predeceased by his wife Audrey (2004), his parents Clarence and Alma Anderson, brother Ray and his wife Marj, sister in law Joan and husband Haus and brother in law Cliff Spurgeon.

A celebration of a life very well lived will be held on Sat. Oct. 27, 2012 at 1 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, 323 4th Ave. So. in Saskatoon. Pastor Randy Meissner presiding. Interment at First Sask. Lutheran Church in Langham after the service. In memory of Russ and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer Society of Canada or a charity of your choice.
