Fred passed away peacefully in his home with his family by his side on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the age of 63 years.
Fred is survived by his loving wife, Marlene; sons, Warren and Ryan (Lara); mother, Nora; brother, Bill (Lynda); sister, Carolyn (John) Brown; Marlene's family, Grandma Anne, Alvin (Judy), Larry (Gloria), Brian (Bev), and their families; and all those ever present in his life including, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Carla; father, Jack; and a niece, Jennifer.
Fred was born in Guernsey, SK and lived on the family farm for a short while until the family moved to Saskatoon. Fred received his education at Mayfair School and Bedford Road Collegiate. He was employed in real estate by Melton, Ashford, Boychuk and Remax from 1975 until his health left him disabled in 1994. He was passionate about real estate and was grateful for the numerous clients that were loyal to him. Fred often left the dinner table to find that perfect house and loved every moment of it.
Fred was a man of dignity, which was even evident throughout his illness. He was cared for in the family home for the last 16 years until his passing. Fred was a loving and devoted husband and father; his children adored him. He was a gentle man who brought joy and humor to all who knew him. He enjoyed socializing and being around his friends and family and claimed his stake at the family BBQ. Fred will be especially remembered for his honesty, integrity, compassion and sharing a good laugh.
A Celebration of Fred's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (1215 McKercher Drive, Saskatoon). Interment will be held at a later date. To send online condolences to family, visit www.parkfuneral.ca . Arrangements entrusted to Lynn Constantinoff.
