COLLISON, LAURETTA CATHERINE November 19th, 1906 - June 2nd, 2010
Lauretta passed away peacefully in her sleep after a short illness, at the age of 103.

Her parents were William and Susan Terry, who were pioneers in the Grandora district. She married on May 22nd, 1948 to Charles Edward Collison.

She was predeceased by her husband; brother, Matthew (Margaret) and sisters, Noreen (Alfred) and Lillian (Robert and Harry). Lauretta is survived by her son, Terry; grandson, Matthew; nephew, Robert (Mary) Davis and great nephews, Nigel and Evan.

Lauretta started school in Nokomis and then attended St. Mary's and the Convent of Sion in Prince Albert. Lauretta was a member of Bedford Road's first graduating class in 1924, and enjoyed attending BRCI's 85th reunion in 2008. She worked as a secretary/cashier at the Capitol Theatre from 1935 to 1948, and later as a legal secretary. She had been a member of Bethel United Church since 1963 and was active in the UCW, 60 Plus Club, and Happy Horizons and later in the Eamer Court Social Club, where she has been a resident since April 1997. Lauretta enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, playing cribbage and doing crossword puzzles.

Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial donations to Bethel United Church or the charity of your choice. The Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 8th at 1:00 p.m. from Bethel United Church (1151 5th Street East) with Pastor Norm Laird presiding.
