PETERS, COLLEEN DAWN
It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of our dear wife, mother, sister, granny, auntie and cousin Colleen Peters (nee Rousell) at St. Paul's Hospital on Monday July 2, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Colleen was born on April 29, 1957 at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon. She resided in Saskatoon her entire life. She attended Boughton, King George and Bedford Road schools. She was a strong beautiful spirit who blessed all of our lives. Colleen touched the lives of everyone she met with her beautiful smile and generosity and maintained her sense of humor throughout her entire life. The greatest joy for Colleen was spending time with her five precious grandchildren.
Music was an integral component of Colleen's life – she loved to dance and sing and served many years as the choir director and organist at her church. She will be forever remembered smiling, singing and dancing.
Colleen will forever be remembered by her loving husband Don; son, Chris (Crystal Unrau) grandsons Austin, Cash, Emmett and Sidney; son, Craig; son, Todd (Katie Hankewich); daughter, Stephanie (Jay) Nicholson, and granddaughter, Sadie; sisters, Darlene (Larry) Brown, Louise (Tim) Ludwig and Bernie Rousell; brothers, Doug (Judy) Rousell, Dan Rousell, Boyd Rousell and Curtis Rousell; sister-in-law, Darlene Rousell and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
