With sadness in our hearts and happy memories in our minds, the family of Norman Edward Alison Snow announce his passing on June 7, 2004 at the age of 85 years.

He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family. He is survived by: wife, Joyce of Saskatoon; daughters, Joanne (Larry) Schwan of Saskatoon, Pat (Dave) Hamlyn of London, Ontario and son, Ted (Louise) Snow of Prince Albert; sister, Daisy Pletzer of BC; step children, Gail (Rick) Maines of Saskatoon, Bonnie Thoen of Saskatoon, Meryl (Debbie) Isaacson of Calgary, Betty (Brent) Truitt of Calgary; grandchildren, Rachel (Wes), Andrea (Matt), Ray, Kelly, Jodie (Clint), Raylene (Dillyne), Christie, Ashley; step-grandchildren, Daryl, Jodie, Ashley, Anthony, Jayden; and one great-grandchild, Suren.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Ada (Cooper); his parents, Margaret and Herbert Snow; his sister, Doreen Snow and great-grandson, Ethan Benoit Smith.

He was born May 5, 1919 in Saskatoon. He attended Mayfair School, Bedford Road Collegiate and the Saskatoon Business College. He proudly wore his RCAF uniform when he married Ada Cooper in 1944 and they spent 34 happy years together before her passing in 1975.

His position as Marketing Manager at the Sask Wheat Pool took him around the world many times. He retired in 1983 after 40 years and that same year he married Joyce and they spent 20 years traveling, gardening, going to the YMCA together, fishing, golfing and playing cards with family and friends. He was a very active member of the Cosmopolitan Club for 50 years.

On May 5th, 2004 he celebrated his 85th birthday with his family and he made mention of the fact of how much his family meant to him and how much he thoroughly enjoyed his special day. He passed away very peacefully at Central Haven Special Care Home where he had resided for a little over a month.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sask. Diabetic Assoc. or the Mayfair United Church. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Mayfair United Church 902 33rd Street West. The service will be officiated by Rev. Jack Carr.
