KINGERY, Patricia September 5, 1938 – April 13, 2015
Patricia Ann Kingery (nee Hoy). It is with great sadness that Pat's daughters announce her passing on April 13, 2015.
Survived by her brother Dick Hoy (Barb). Deeply loved mother, friend and confidant of Beth Berquist, Linda Mahood (Vic Satzewich), and Lori Bossen (Preben). Delightful grandmother of Jessica Berquist, Lucy and Jack Satzewich, Andrew, Simon and Jill Bossen. Predeceased by her parents William (Bill) and Verna Hoy and husband Bill Kingery.
Pat was born in Saskatoon. She graduated from Bedford Road Colligate and planned many reunions for the class of '56. Pat married Doug Mahood in 1958 and they moved to Vancouver, then to Calgary and to Brandon. Her dream was always to return to Saskatoon and the family she loved there. Pat rejoined the workforce in 1967 working for the Bank of Montreal and then Canada Trust. In 1984, she received her Business Administration diploma from the University of Saskatchewan and finished her career as Office Manager for the LaMarsh Law firm.
Pat married Bill in 1981 and they enjoyed many years together, travelling and visiting his siblings and children. During her retirement she was an active board member of Heritage Estates Condominium Association, volunteer with McClure Outreach Reading Program at Caswell School and a bereavement counselor.
Her interests were as diverse as her many talents. She was fascinated by local politics and history, literature and nature and she sewed beautiful costumes and toys for her grandchildren. She was an avid storyteller, always full of laughter, and "fun and games." She was proud of her family and friends and strong role model for her daughters and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Pat's Life will be held at McClure United Church, Thursday April 23, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. Donations in Pat's memory may be made to Saskatoon Interval House, https://www.saskatoonintervalhouse.org.
