HENDERSON, Gayle Marian March 28, 1936 - May 31, 2021
It is with heartfelt sorrow we announce the passing of Gayle Henderson at Royal University Hospital on Monday, May 31, 2021 at the age of 85 years.

Gayle was born March 28, 1936 in Dinsmore, Saskatchewan. She was the 2nd of 4 children born to Hooper and Helen Clark. She attended Welcome Valley School through grade 7 when they relocated to Saskatoon. She then completed her grade 8 year at Princess Alexander. Her next 4 years were spent at Bedford Road Collegiate. After high school Gayle began the first of many jobs in the food services industry at the Broadway Cafe.

She met her first husband Bill Snook who worked next door to the cafe at Purity Dairy. They moved to Prince Albert where she spent many years raising a family and she continued to build her resume at The Marlboro Hotel, The Coronet Hotel, the Voyager and The Bay. She returned to Saskatoon where she met her second husband Joe Henderson. She worked at The Coachman Restaurant and finished off her career with the Co-op. Gayle loved to spend her free time gardening, baking, travelling and spending time with her family.

Gayle is survived by her children: Barb Reid, Deb Read, Rick (Theresa) Snook, Melinda Henderson (Kris Galenzoski) and stepson Duane (Lynn) Mondue; grandchildren Mike (Ashley) and Greg Reid, Shannon (Stu) Jennewein, Adam (Kim) Snook, Sarah (Dustin) Read, Megan (Simon) Cook, Kendra (Aaron) Smith, William Henderson and Harper Galenzoski; great-grandchildren Journey, Jazmyn and Grayson Reid, Emily and Abigail Snook; Lucas Cook and Myla Smith; brother Brian (Bonnie) Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Joe Henderson; parents Hooper and Helen Clark; Chuck Cowger; brother Robert Clark; and sons-in-law Gordon Reid and Calvin Read.

A Memorial Service will be held at Park Funeral Home, 311 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Clark Puckett, CFC.
