Bob (Pat) passed away at the age of 88 years on September 1, 2007 at home.

He is survived by his wife Edna (Ross); his son Bob (Sherry); his three daughters Judy (Howie) Steel, Cambridge, ON; Mary and Janice; four grandchildren Pamela (Travis), Jonathan, Erin and Lindsay; his brother-in-law Ken (Sheral) Ross, Langley, BC; and nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his infant son Ronald; his parents, and his four siblings Gordon, May, Helen and Joe.

Bob was born near Marriott, SK and lived in Saskatchewan his entire life. He attended Westmount School and Bedford Road Collegiate. He enlisted into the Air Force and served overseas for 5 years, mostly in the Middle East, as a Spitfire Pilot reaching the rank of Flt. Lt.

After WWII, Bob married, and worked as a Credit Manager for Bowman Brothers and Acklands, Ltd. for approximately 40 years. During this time he was active in Kinsmen and K40's in Rosetown and Kindersley. Bob was active in St. James Anglican Church, serving on the vestry and as Rector's Warden. He was an avid square dancer for over 45 years, belonged to the Wandering Wheels Trailer Club, Old Timer's Assoc., and the Legion Branch #63.

In his retirement, Bob golfed, curled, watched the Toronto Blue Jays, and volunteered at the Saskatoon Convalescent Home. He loved to travel with favorite spots being Hawaii and Radium, BC.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday September 5, 2007 at 2:00 pm at St. James Anglican Church (corner of Dufferin & 12th Street) With Rev. Canon Glenn Ash officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or to a charity of your choice.
