Sheila Clackson (McRuvie) of Saskatoon passed away peacefully at home on February 7th, 2023 at the age of 91. Sheila was born March 30, 1931 in Saskatoon to Velma and Thomas McRuvie. Growing up in the Mayfair area, Sheila attended Mayfair Public School and Bedford Road Collegiate. She met her husband of 64 years, Gerald, while at Mayfair School. They created a wonderful life in Saskatoon where they made many lifelong friends and memories. Sheila devoted her life to her family. She was a dedicated wife and mother foremost. Sheila spent her summers coaching her daughters in fastball and the winters traveling endless highways for her sons' hockey games. Carrying on to her three grandsons' hockey as well. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. As her children moved away from Saskatoon, Sheila and Gerry would make every effort to spend holidays and special events surrounded by family, often traveling to be with them. Sheila especially loved her role as grandmother and great grandmother.

Sheila was predeceased by her husband Gerald, infant daughter, Sherry, her parents, sister Elizabeth (Betty) and brother, Thomas. Also, by Gerald's parents, siblings, many friends and special family pets. She is survived by her children, Karen, Kim (Donna), Kevin (Kari) and Karleen (Rob). She was also survived by 9 grandchildren, Ashlee, Jeff (Ricquelle), Nicole (Dan), Matt (Grace), Chris (Jaclyn), Parker, Heidi and 12 great grandchildren.

Please join us celebrating Sheila's life Thursday February 16th, 2023 between 1:00-3:00pm at the family home on Neilson Crescent. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sheila's favourite charities, the SPCA and CNIB.
