Loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle, loved and treasured friend to many, 41-year career veteran of the Mendel art gallery. Passed away peacefully surrounded by a loving family, in the comfort of his home. We loved: his smile, his laugh, his sheepish grin; his shoulder to cry on, his hugs and kisses and "I love you's"; his attention to detail and need for excellence in all he did (his friends and colleagues called him "the Perfectionist"); his love of family. Perry loved: his family, his music, his time with friends, his walks in the dog park with Princess, his endless hours restoring to perfection his treasured Chevy's, his quiet times enjoying a movie with his grandkids nestled around him, the sound of train whistles at night. Perry lived by the words "work a little, rest a little, play a little". The simple things in life made him happy. This isn't goodbye; it is tucking memories inside our hearts; memories we will draw upon to help us through this difficult time and which will comfort us forever. "'Til we meet again". Forever loved and deeply missed by his wife and best friend, Sharon; his children and grandchildren Allan, Carla (Braedyn, London, Bella), Keith (Malaki, Salem), Chris (Brendan, Ty); his brothers and sisters, Gary (Sharon), Beverly, Pat (Keith), Tom, Linda (Sandy), Faye (Greig), Shirley (Rob), Sheila, Don (Kendra); as well as numerous nieces; nephews; many, many loved and treasured friends and neighbours; and his faithful pets, Princess the dog and Lucky the cat. Friends are invited to join Perry's family as we honour his life and share memories. There will be a Reception at Saskatoon Travelodge, Galaxy Room B, 106 Circle Drive, Saskatoon on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. a short program to begin at 2:30 p.m. Donations, if desired, may be made to WANAR (a rescue organization for abandoned pets) or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
