ANN SAWYER Obituary

Ann passed away at the Arbor in Ridgeland April 5, 2020, after a long illness. Anne was born on August 17, 1946 and grew up in Brookline, MA. She graduated from Brookline High School and was a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Boston University with Honors in French and Education. She was awarded the Columbia University Book Prize as the outstanding education student in her class. Anne worked as a grade school teacher for several years and then obtained a Master's degree in Library Science from Simmons College in Boston, MA. Lawyer, teacher, poet, author

Mr. WEINERMAN died Monday at his Brookline home of complications from AIDS. He was 44.

He wrote "Practical Law: A. Layperson's Handbook" (1980). His poems appeared in the American Poetry Review, Partisan Review and the Southern Poetry Review and in the Crown National Anthology Poets for Life (1989).

A 1968 graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Mr. WEINERMAN served as editor in chief of the Massachusetts Daily Collegian there. He graduated from Case Western Reserve Law School in Cleveland in 1971.
