Turner, John William Born in Mpls. 10-22-1959 to 7-23-2006 Survived by loving wife, Paula; daughters, Lauren & Lindsey; stepdaughter, Kelly; parents, Bill & Kay Turner; sisters, Tammy (Tom) Ubl and Tracy (John) Hughes; sisters and brothers- in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and lots of friends. John served with the Naval Services for 23 years. Volunteered with Okontoe Hockey League in New Brighton and White Bear Lake Hockey. He was a member of the Freemen Motorcycle Club – a service club which benefits others in the community. Funeral service 10 AM Monday at SHEPHERD OF THE HILLS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3920 N. Victoria Ave. Shoreview. Visitation 2-6 PM Sunday with a prayer service 5:00 PM at HOLCOMB-HENRY- BOOM FUNERAL HOME, (651-482-7606), 515 W. Hwy 96 at Mackubin, Shoreview. There will also be visitation on Monday AT THE CHURCH from 9 AM until time of service. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
