Please consider making a donation. Assistance is needed to help fund our reunion as well as our '76 Class Gift to East and Manual High Schools respectively.
A meaningful high school education provides more than academics!
Extracurricular activites are an integral part of a student's education. They play a vital role in personal development, establishing strong personal connections, and the discovery of lifelong passions.
East Angels
Fifty years ago members of our graduating class were hungry, unshelterd, dealing with a lack of access to basic healthcare, and they could not participate in sports or clubs for lack of dollars. Now 50 years later, in 2026, the same is true.
This is why the East High Class of 1976 has established a fund to help East students participate to the fullest in extracurricuar activities. Throughout each school year, the East High principal, assistant principals, teachers and counselors will identify students that would benefit from the assitance and distribute funds accordingly.
Manual Thunderbolts
Students at Manual High School have also dealt with challenges, both in 1976 and today. Following discussions with the Principal of Manual HS several specific areas of support were identified.
The 1976 Class Gift will provide funds to assist in the following 3 areas:
Performing Arts programs (a hallmark of Manual High School)
Help fund college visits for senior students
Help enhance computer science equipment
Donations via MyEvent
Please be aware that if you do not choose the "Cover the Fee" togle switch, your donation amount will be reduced by the amount charged by MyEvent to cover the transaction. Any and all donations are appreciated of course, but covering the fee would be much appreciated by both institutions and future Angels and Thunderbolts. You will receive an email receipt from MyEvent for your documentation needs.
Angel Contribution
75%
Bolt Contribution
25%
Calculation of percentage contribution is a manual process and will be updated when an administrator reviews donations. Also, if a donor does not cover the fees associated with the donation, then the percentage will reflect that difference even though the total appears larger. Have fun and let's leverage our inherent competitive spirit to benefit the future students at both of our beloved institutions!
