Cubbedge Family Reunion 2023

Hello family! Welcome to the Cubbedge Family Reunion website where you can find all things related to our upcoming reunion on August 5, 2023! This is for the descendents of Barney and Ella Mae Howard Cubbege. Their children were Edison, Evelyn, Alverine (Pat), Ruth and Atys. We will also welcome all other extended family members.

UPDATE June 24, 2023 - You all should be receiving the reunion invitations any day now. Just wanted to let you know that if you're planning on booking a room at the Holiday Inn Gateway, in order to get the group rate you'll need to book by July 3rd instead of July 5th, which is what it says in the invitation.

Also, somehow I left the actual time you need to be there on Saturday. Dinner and fun begins at 5:00 so please be on time!

And we want to bring back the Friday Food, Fun, Fellowship & Fire Pit gathering like Barry and Denise hosted back in 2017. So Friday night, August 4th, at 6:30 you are all invited to come to Angie and Kelley Woodward’s house at 113 Marsh Side Drive, Savannah, GA. We will provide finger foods and soft drinks. Feel free to bring any other drinks you want. Please RSVP to Angie at (912) 844-8214 for Friday night along with your RSVP for Saturday. We are so excited and can’t wait to see you all!

UPDATE February 20, 2023 - We now have a location! The reunion will take place at the Holiday Inn Savannah Gateway right off of I-95. The main meal will begin around 5:00pm (details on that to follow) but we will have a room reserved for our family for the entire day from 6:30am to 10:00pm so if some of you want to gather for breakfast or lunch there, that's fine too.

We have requested a block of 10 rooms for 2 nights (Friday & Saturday) in order to get a group rate so we are hoping to get reservations for at least those rooms. Should more be needed we can add more to the block up until July 5th which is the last date to book your rooms to get the group rate. Here is the link to book your reservation:

Cubbedge Family Reunion - 2023 (Holiday Inn Savannah Gateway)

We not only want this to be a weekend that you can reconnect with family you haven't seen in awhile or possibly may have never even met, but we also want this to be an enjoyable get-away weekend for your family to take part in what our beautiful city has to offer! There are so many interesting and fun things to do in Savannah during the summer and we will be posting some ideas on this website soon.
