Greetings to all! I retired in 2022 after operating a child & family mental health clinic in Rochester (MN) for 26 years. Practiced child & adolescent psychiatry for 31 years. Married happily to my best friend. We have two kids. I’ve written two books & working on another. Still love to sing.

Hello! If you were in Mr. Matlon's AP American History class, please send me a message or email me at cbarnyt (at) gmail. We're trying to get the "old gang" back together. Thanks, Carla

I’m disappointed I’m not able to join you for the reunion after 50 years. Hope all is well with my 1973 classmates. After 20 years in the Aviation Industry, 10 years in the Texas Guard and 21 years teaching high school Algebra, I retired in Fort Worth Texas. I spend my lazy days now completing in Hunting Tournaments with my Yellow Lab, Cowboy Boots. Party on and enjoy the weekend!

I’m really looking forward to this reunion, but is anyone as petrified as I am that I won’t remember our connections?! Please remind me. I swear I should just check into the care center already! See you there!

I moved to Edina from La Crosse my senior year in 1972. I went to Edina West. Nothing but great memories and great friends!

Hi all~ Hope we can locate more of our classmates! As a UMN alum, I ran across this recently regarding classmate, Greg Wakefield. Amazing the way he was able to integrate his academic aptitudes w/ his musical passions! "Greg Wakefield, esteemed champion of interdisciplinary education and research, retires as a faculty member of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science on May 31, 2022. Greg specialized in the field of signal processing, specifically perceptual acoustics, music processing, time-frequency distributions, signal analysis and synthesis, sound quality engineering, computational audition, psychoacoustics, auditory prosthetics, and statistical signal processing. …he joined a team of faculty working on cochlear implants for people with hearing loss, later collaborating work on sound quality engineering. His ability to bridge multiple disciplines and to communicate and collaborate made him a cherished leader of programs like ArtsEngine. This program's mission: "to deepen and enrich the Michigan experience by providing a framework in which curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and passion are engaged through interdisciplinary teaching, learning, research, and community." Greg created many interdisciplinary courses at Michigan, such as "Stradivarius as Biologist", and "Shaping the Sound of Bronze." He also continues developing his passion for music & theater, something we saw back at EHS! Hope we'll get to see him in August!

Here’s a nice quote from Garrison Keillor, “fulfillment at 60, serenity at 70, gaiety at 80.”
