Comment: Married to my best friend for 46 years! Amazing she has put up with me this long! Multiple careers. Played music "on the road" for my first year out of college. Two years as a high school band director at Shorewood HS in Seattle. 27 years in the business world - sales and management. Retired last summer after 18 years as an ordained pastor. Currently live in Iowa (a place I said I would never live), and drive a school bus part-time (a job I said I would never do). But it's all good. We live reasonably close to our three kids and seven grandkids and get to see them regularly. Looking forward to seeing all of you! |

Comment:
I retired last year after 45 years in the Information technology space. What’s next? Golf, travel, and more time with my wife Liz, my three kids, and five grandkids. I love being from Spokane. Even though I live in the DC area, I have visited family in Spokane at least once a year since college. I’ve run Bloomsday and last summer did the Long Bridge Swim across Pend Oreille Lake. Did I mention skiing? I skied Mt Spokane in December for the first time in years. And you can’t beat my favorite golf courses—Latah Creek, Qualchan, and Indian Canyon. Looking forward to our reunion and catching up with old friends. |

I have two sons, two daughters-in-law, and three school-aged grandchildren. They are all amazing and wonderful people! I have been blessed to work with children in the public school setting since 1978. With mixed emotions, I will be retiring at the end of June 2024. I’m excited to see what my next chapter will bring! The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1 Thank you to all of our classmates who organized our 50 year reunion! I know it takes a lot of time and work to put on such a big event! I look forward to seeing my old classmates and meeting new! |

Occupation: | Retired RN, Currently fine jewelry design |
Comment: Attended WSU and graduated with a BS in Nursing. After 42 years as an RN mostly at Sacred Heart. Various roles including direct patient care, staff education, department manager of Internal Medicine and finally as the Infection Control Specialist (during COVID) I retired exhausted During that time I was elected and served on the Spokane Public Schools Board of Directors for 13 years, 4 years as president. Although I had no plans for an encore career I am now into life 2.0 doing custom fine jewelry design at Austin's Fine Jewelry in Spokane and having a wonderful time. I have been married to Paul Chapin since 1988 and have 2 daughters, Grace (35) and Andrea (33) who are wonderful, happy adults; both also Ferris graduates. No grandchildren. We have done quite a bit of traveling overseas with my favorite destination Egypt on a boat up the Nile. We live in the Ferris neighborhood in the same house for 30+ years. |
