Comment: I started my life out by joining the USAF reserve for 4 years. I spent the the first Two years full time then reserve status for two years. It was helpful to see what I wanted to do in life. Spent many years in Banking, and then transferred over to medical billing for a few years, then to payroll. Have had many adventures through the years, and have kept my heart and soul close to my Heavenly Father. I have built a firm foundation with Him. I look forward to what ever He places on my path.

I traveled around Europe when I had the time I was an o pair for a government official when I return to Spokane I attended SFC my sophomore year. I met my husband, Randy , Who was stationed at Fairchild Air Force base in 1976. We married in the same year. Randy became a cosmetologist thus my future was set. We opened our first salon in downtown Spokane in 1984. "The Hair Company". I joined "MATRIX" a professional hair care products company in 1997. It was a trainer for their esthetics line and makeup line. I became their main makeup artist for the Western states I travel a lot doing shows and runway work. My husband Randy joined me in 2000 and we traveled to many places In the United States mainly the West Coast. We moved our salon to the South Hill in 1999 eventually upgrading our location twice before semi retirement in 2018 we closed our last big salon. We raised, trained and showed Apha horses throughout this time. We built our home in 1996 where we currently live off of South Hill overlooking the palouse. We have 3 daughters have had multiple foster children and 6 wonderful grandchildren. We are finally empty nesters and plan on traveling in the future around the US in our trailer now. Hopefully find someone to hire for longer periods of time to feed the horses!

Looking forward to seeing everyone. A big thanks to all who organized this reunion.

Comment: Hi Classmates! My husband Jim and I have 5 grown children and 6 grandchildren. We met at college(SPC)in the summer of 1974 and were married on April 2, 1977. We love to go camping; hiking; exploring; and love our many family events. Hmm...so tell me; "How do you do a synopsis of 50 years of living?" I'll try!

I graduated from EWU in 1980 with a double degree: One in music (did my student teaching at Sacajawea Jr. High in the Choral Dept.)and my second student teaching was in 4th grade. Since then, I've taught elementary music in various schools; founded my own music school called Pendleton Piano Pals; Kindermusik Kids; & Musictots Studio and had the joy of teaching voice and drama classes at CYT (Christian Youth Theatre). I retired from teaching in 2019 where I had been a classroom teacher at Summit Christian Academy in either grades 1;2;or 3 and also taught high school drama and speech classes for them. I've been a private voice instructor and was an adjunct at Whitworth College for a year, where my job was to demonstrate how to teach piano to very young students. I have loved being a teacher. It has brought me so much joy and I miss it! But, being a mom of 5 has been my biggest blessing.

My 4 boys and 1 girl ended up with the 'Creative Artsy Gene'. We have an actor; a pianist/composer; a singer/songwriter/musician/artist; and our funny cartoonist and life of the party son - but not 1 doctor in the group. I will never be an 'Empty Nester' because our 4th born, Jonathan, has Down syndrome and lives with us. He loves to bowl with Special Olympics; ride his bike and exercises with me. I am grateful for his smile, hugs, and companionship. He is wonderful!
