The Gladstone Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund is an annual campaign that raises money for local charities. For 2021, Mayor RD Mallams has selected Feed Northland Kids, Gladstone Neighbors Helping Neighbors and The Northland Christmas Store as the fund's recipients. Please join Mayor Mallams in supporting these two wonderful organizations!

More information about the charities:

  • Feed Northland Kids: Feed Northland Kids provides backpacks full of food to send home each weekend with over 900 hungry elementary school children in the North Kansas City School District.  In addition, Feed Northland Kids has established school pantries in middle and high schools in the northland.   When the economic impact of the COVID-19 crisis hit, FNK created the Community Food Kit program and has been distributing packages of food and produce to hundreds of our most vulnerable families each week.
  • Gladstone Neighbors Helping Neighbors: Gladstone Neighbors Helping Neighbors continues to be a strong supporter of neighborhoods in Gladstone. They provide funding for a variety of neighborhood programs  to assist needy homeowners who are unable to manage  minor home repairs, weatherization , and maintenance for their homes.

  • Northland Christmas Store: Since 1988, the Northland Christmas Store has been dedicated to providing food, hygiene products, and new toys to children and families during the Christmas season.   Annually, 1,000 deserving families and senior citizens in Clay County are served.

Please join Mayor Mallams on November 23 at 6pm at Linden Square, 601 NE 70th St, Gladstone, MO 64118, as we light the Gladstone Mayor's Christmas Tree and hear performances by Meadow Elementary and Antioch Middle School Choirs.
