A TASTE OF HOME
Get ready for two or three (not sure yet - note to myself) days of delicious, homemade meals crafted with love by our very own cousin and Chef Darla Vickers and her daughter Zakisha! At our last family reunion in Arizona, they rattled them pots and put their “foot in em” to feed the family!
They have a true passion for cooking that brings people together, making every dish feel like a warm hug from home. Serving up meals that celebrate our family's roots—comforting, flavorful, and made with the kind of care that only family can provide.
Our Ardmore Family will also be contributing to the meals we served and providing us with unique Ardmore flavors. More details to come on that!
This reunion isn’t just about reconnecting—it’s about sharing food, laughter, and memories around the table. We’ll be doing just that with full plates, full hearts, and full bellies.
The kitchen will be buzzing with love all weekend long!

Welcome to Ardmore. We can’t wait to see you on Friday afternoon as you drive or fly into the family reunion. Our reception area will be ready when you arrive. Pick up your Welcome Bag with a few goodies to make your weekend memorable, t-shirt, name badge and don't forget to sign in on the wall. "Hugs" and "Hi Family" await you. Sit down for awhile to eat, play cards, play games, coloring books and activities for the young ones!
Sandwiches, salad, snacks, fruit, dessert and beverages will be provided.

Ardmore Family Tours
Meet in Lobby at Holiday Inn by IHG Ardmore
Enjoy an early morning walk through Ardmore and a visit to historic sites that are connected to our heritage. The Tour Guide will meet with you before departure, provide you with a map of our stops, grab water, healthy snacks and whisk you into Ardmore.

Come grab your seat and reserve your energy for all the action at Whittington Park. Our site includes a Pavilion, Tents, Basketball Courts, Pickleball Court, Playground, Splash Pad, Tennis Court, Nature Trail and nearby Restrooms. Remember to bring Swimming Attire, Towels and change of clothes for Splash Pad kids and your folding chair!
Activities include a Knowledge Keeper and Storyteller Tent where knowledge will be shared with family members of all ages through handouts, activities and games. Grab your partner and your seat at the Card tables, some for adults and others for our young ones. Basketball, Sack Races, Water Balloons, Dancing and Team Family Jeopardy competition with prizes. More details to follow!
Your taste buds will be tingling with BBQ Chicken, Spare Ribs, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Corn, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Macaroni Salad, Desserts and Beverages. Additons to this list will be coming soon!
