MARK LEONHARD OBITUARY
Mark was a star athlete at Hersey. Played on Scholarship at the University of Tulsa for both Baseball and Football. Baseball Teammates from his time at Hersey have had a few Mark Leonhard Memorial Baseball Games, even Coach Harvey Foster was at the first one. Mark made that much of an impression on those he competed with and knew to be remembered after his passing.
Mark E. Leonhard 56 of Indianapolis passed away May 25, 2011. Mark's contagious laugh, loving heart and bigger than life personality will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He was employed with the Simrit Division of Freudenberg NOK for many years. Mark was preceded in death by his mother Evelyn Leonhard . Mark is survived by his wife Amy Loch Leonhard; children Amber, Charles , Brandon and Morgan Leonhard; father David Leonhard; sisters Sharon (Bryan) Draper and her children David and Rachel, and Patricia Leonhard, and brother Steven (Michelle) Leonhard and his 4 children. Memorial services will be Wednesday, June 1, 4pm at the Geist Christian Church, 8550 Mud Creek Rd. Friends may visit with family after the services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Leonhard children's education fund in care of the Leonhard Family PMB 167, 11715 Fox Rd, Suite 400, Indianapolis, IN 46236.
