1954-10-30 2012-10-13Michael A. Tufo, 57, of Boulder, died Sat., October 13, 2012 at his home. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2012, followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m., Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 2312 14 St., Boulder, CO. A reception will be held at The Rembrandt Yard, 1301 Spruce St., Boulder, following the service. Interment will be held at Mission San Luis Rey de Francia, Oceanside, CA. Michael was born October 30, 1954 to Paul E. and Gloria J. (Fylyma) Tufo in Chicago, IL. Grant Weisenborn
Grant Weisenborn passed away within a few years after graduating from JHHS, class of '72.
He was a leader. The thing that interested Grant so much was his observation of human behavior. He became an expert in drawing people out from their shells.
He didn't care too much for the accumulation of possesions. Rather, his jam was gathering experiences.
Before Grant and I could legally obtain driver's licences for cars, we rode smaller street-legal dirt bikes. And, before the motorcycles we rode our Schwinn ten- speed bicycles around Arlington Heights. Once, we snuck out and pedalled to Fox Lake in the evening and then back in the dawn.

Steve Wilcher

Played football with Steve a couple years. He was a hard runner, played with intensity and was liked by many he came into contact with during High School. He wrestled as well but was also a Singer, and in Vocal Music. I'll never forget seeing/hearing Steve belt out the lyrics to "Born on the Bayou", a Creedence Clearwater Revival tune at the time--belting it out while in a band playing one of the earliest Student Mixers at Hersey. I only knew him from Football--who knew he could sing too, but sing he did. He gave that song the near Baritone boom it deserved.
