ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOODS

  • Cherry Creek
    • A vibrant Denver neighborhood located at 1st Ave. and University Blvd, about 2 miles from my house. Once you’re there, it’s a walkable outdoor community with boutique hotels, more than 65 restaurants, home furnishing stores and galleries, clothing and accessory retailers as well as numerous spas and salons. Cherry Creek Mall is a short walk across 1st Ave. 
  • River North (RiNo)
    • Nicknamed “RiNo,” the trendy River North Art District features contemporary art galleries and hip concert venues in revamped industrial buildings. Food halls include Denver Central Market and The Source, a buzzy indoor venue with eclectic products and a bar for small plates and craft beer. Known for its colorful murals, Upper Larimer Street also has cocktail lounges, brewpubs with patios and late-night food trucks.
  • Lower Highlands (LoHi)
    • Lower Highland, also called LoHi, is a hip neighborhood known for its cocktail lounges, craft beer spots, and stylish restaurants, some with rooftop views over the skyline. Landmarks include the Avanti Food and Beverage hall, housed in shipping containers, and the iconic, oversized milk can that holds the Little Man Ice Cream shop near Hirshorn Park. The 1912 Bug Theatre puts on indie films, concerts, and plays.
  • Highland
    • Overlooking downtown Denver, Highland is a bustling residential neighborhood featuring avenues lined with elegant old homes, chic cocktail bars and trendsetting restaurants. The sleek Highland Bridge spans the South Platte River to Commons and Confluence parks, home to jogging paths, shady picnic spots and riverside trails. Nearby, the Elitch Gardens amusement park offers thrill rides, shows and casual dining.
  • South Pearl Street, Denver
    • South Pearl Street is one of Denver’s most historic, charming, and popular shopping districts.   • Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall
    • The Pearl Street Mall is a four-block pedestrian mall in Boulder, Colorado, United States. The pedestrian area stretches from 11th Street to 15th Street along Pearl Street and is home to lots  of businesses and restaurants, nestled against the Flatirons.
