Aden Swan is the son of Ms. Djenaba Prater and Mr. Joel Swan, a Senior at Southern University Laboratory School. Aden is a member of the Baton Rouge Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Inc., serving as the 2024-2025 Teen Chapter President. This past fall Aden attended On The Hill in Washington, DC with his fellow BRJJ Chapter members where he had an opportunity to see and hear from Vice President Kamala Harris and visit with Louisiana Legislators on Capitol Hill. Black History and American History are subjects that Aden enjoys, thus participating in the Louisiana Regional Black History Bowl Competition where he and his teammates won 1st place. In his spare time, Aden enjoys playing and watching basketball, listening to music is his passion, traveling, fishing and spending time with family and friends are things Aden truly values.
