I just saw Beth Walker Slifer '59 today in Vail, Colorado. She said they just had 50th in Jax. They had one event in Cummer Art Museum and one at Timaquana Country Club. I agree, don't want to spend vacation time in Orange Park. I've been there a bunch in the last few years while my mom was in a nursing home there.
Thank you so much for the memories..Sorry I can\'t attend....I left Lee after my junior year , joined the Air Force and had a great career...Regretted leaving my many friends so early, but Steve Ravesies and I are still close friends . His email is sravesies@aol.com. Does anyone know what happened to Beverly McGahee ? She was a very nice girl and was friends with Patricia Taylor..
Sure enjoyed this website. Looking forward to seeing you folks this coming Sat.
Thanks to Laura Jo Griffin Brewer and MC for locating me. I missed the 40th, but made the 20th and 30th and look forward to seeing everyone in May 2010, Thanks to all involved with organizing our reuion and putting together this great website!
I'vd missed previous reunions due to living all over the country and finding about one or two too late to attend. Looking forward to seeing everyone and certainly appreciate the hard work of the committee.
10 days to go...this last year has gone fast. Excitement fills the air as we plan to gather the weekend of the 21st. Thank you to MC and her committee for such an outstanding job of putting this gala event together.
The last Reunion we came to was at the beach; funniest event was watching someone get the '57 Chevy stuck in the doorframe ... HA! I, Lenora, did not know a soul there other than Louis; but had a blast anyway! We both did and it was a nice break for us at the beach. Looking forward to seeing old friends and catching up! Will also give us an opportunity to see old friends that Louis knew from years ago.
50 years, what a milestone. Ginger and I have been married for 36 years, have 5 great children, 14 grandchildren. I am a pastor and bring chaplains into businesses here in Jax., I know that may be hard to believe but it\'s true. God is good, and has been very good to me. We look forward to seeing all of you soon. Steve
Looking forward to the 50th reunion and seeing the gang! I want to thank the committee for all their hard work in putting this special event together. Many thanks to Eleanor Chance Baker for contacting me with the class reunion information!
Some of us are older and wiser, most of us are just older. Thanks to Larry Whittington for locating me in the outback of Gadsden, AL. It was truly sad to see how many of our classmates have died. Truly, we are all terminal.
The website is great. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion! Are we really this old?
I am excited at the thought of seeing classmates and guest of the class of 60. From now 'til May '10 will be somewhat tedious. Please feel free to e-mail me with anything of interest.
Thanks to Hal Cohen for helping me put music from 1960 on the website. M. C.
Fifty years? This has got to be a mistake. Didn't we just have our twentieth reunion at the beach?
Looking forward to seeing OLD friends again.
The music along with this web site is awesome!! Really looking forward to seeing so many good "ole" school mates from the 60\'s.....This is going to be a blast......
Congratulations to the wonderful crew that has put all this together! Our 50th should be the best yet! So excited to see our good ole 60\'s classmates and listen that the sounds of that time. See all on the 21st of May.Camille
Kudos to MC for not only designing this fantastic website for our reunion but she is the one who is continually updating as we feed her info. She is the one who is
