It’s the perfect way to stretch your legs, catch up with family, and enjoy the fresh air before the day’s festivities begin.
The walk will last 45–60 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water. Whether you’re looking to get in some steps, enjoy nature, or just have some unhurried conversation, this easygoing walk is a great way to start the day. Arrive early—we’ll start promptly at 10 AM!

Kinney Cemetery Visit – Honoring Our Ancestors
📅 Sunday, July 20 | ⏰ 10:00 AM
📍 Kinney Cemetery, 3275 Vincent Road, Wadhams, MI 48049
Take a meaningful pause in our reunion weekend to honor the generations who came before us. Hosted by Christina (Maes) Williams, this visit to Kinney Cemetery is an opportunity to reflect, share stories, and connect with our family's rich history. Christina will bring rubbing paper so you can take home an imprint of a loved one’s headstone—a special keepsake to preserve their memory.
As you walk through the cemetery, keep an eye out for Daughters of the American Revolution plaques marking the headstones noting our familial tie to Ulysses S. Grant. Whether you’re here to pay respects, learn more about our family’s past, or simply share in the moment, this visit is a powerful way to celebrate the legacy that unites us all.
