We’re so excited about the fun times we’ll have in our nation’s capital, as we celebrate our 2025 Bogar Family Reunion!  We really appreciate your interest in ensuring that this year’s reunion is a success and ask that you let us know in which area you’d like to volunteer.

We need your assistance in the following areas:

• Planning Activities – Lydia Lambert is the committee lead for this effort. Our activities other than the banquet and “Meet & Greet” are addressed in this area.  These include evening activities specific to the interest of the various family branches. Perhaps, you’re gifted in this area and have planned activities at your Church, school, community group or work. If so, Lydia certainly can benefit from your experience, so please sign up below to help!

• “Meet & Greet” (First Night) – Cheryll Bogar is the committee lead for this event.  This is the kickoff event where introductions are made and “get-acquainted” and “icebreaker” activities are built in.  Cheryll would love to hear from you if this is an area you want to contribute.

• Youth Activities – Lydia Lambert is also the committee lead to ensure our children & teenagers have their fun as well. We’re looking at excursions to water & theme parks, bowling and games in the hospitality room.  We’ll also need chaperones for indoor pool activities at the hotel as well as for any of the excursions.  We’re looking for good ideas and support for our youth, so please reach out to Lydia through the signup form below.

• Banquet Night – Lawrence (Larry) Bogar is the committee lead to plan a fantastic banquet for the ages! There’s a lot of planning & support needed to pull this off.  Please let Larry know if you’re interested through the signup form below.

• Hosting (Staffing) Hospitality Room during the Day – Marvin Smith is the committee lead to coordinate volunteers to host the hospitality room during the day and evenings. In this role you’ll serve as the information source and address any questions family members may have during the day or coordinate games/activities during Thursday & Friday evenings for those not participating in the evening excursions.  Please let Marvin know if you’re willing to assist by completing the form below.

• Assisting Senior in Getting Around (Wheelchair Assistance) – Our seniors may need assistance with their wheelchairs during the daily excursions and tour events, Don Sanders is the committee lead supporting the seniors.  If you’re willing to help push wheelchairs for the elderly and disabled, please let Don know by completing the signup below.  Thanks!
