Born January 2, 1955 the fourth child of Mrs Daisy Lee McCoy Mathis and Freddie Lee Mathis. Andrew joined Mt Olive Missionary Baptist church at an early age. A Life long resident of Sale City, He often helped serve meals in the community to those in need and would help wherever needed. He worked at Golden Peanut Co for a number of years before he become disabled. He will be remembered mostly for his warm hugs and good cooking.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and 4 siblings. Toni,David,Daisy, and Norman Mathis.

Daisy Lee Mathis, 76, of Sale City, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, at Archbold Memorial Hospital.


Born Jan. 21, 1932, in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Alice McCoy. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Fannie McIntyre O.E.S. #136 and served as the Mother of the Church, a deaconess, a Sunday school teacher, and many other capacities in the church.

Norman Allen Mathis Sr., 52, of Camilla, Ga., died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 14, at Mt. IDA LEE WARREN 61, was born to the parentage of the late Rufus Lee and Ruthie Mae McCoy in Sale City Georgia. In 1950 she moved to Daytona Beach from her birthplace.

She received her education at the former Campbell Street High School. She worked for 33 years as a housekeeper for Delaire Hotel. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing cards, loved life her child and grandchildren.
