2 tablespoons butter
1 ounce unsweetened chocolate (used to be 1 square but now takes 2 squares)
1/3 cup boiling water
2 tablespoons corn syrup
1/3 teaspoons vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
Melt butter, add chocolate. Stir over low heat until chocolate melts. Gradually add boiling water, stirring constantly. Heat to boiling. Add sugar and corn syrup, stirring until dissolved. Simmer 5 minutes. Add vanilla and salt. Pour over ice cream. Pour some on bowl of ice cream. After sauce cools , it sometimes becomes sugary....just heat it again.
