1955-11-09 2008-04-28Gordon E. Abbott, 52, better known as 'Butch,' passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 28, 2008, due to heart failure. Graduating from Menchville High School, he spent much of his life on the Peninsula before relocating to the Fredericksburg area. He was proficient in many fields, specializing as a master carpenter. He was an avid Redskins and NASCAR fan and enjoyed golf, hunting and various outdoor activities. He is survived by his loving parents, Gordon and Barbara Abbott of Norge, and his two children, Lindsay Brooke of Richmond and Phillip Duane of Spotsylvania.

She was born July 13, 1955, in Newport News, Va., to the late Robert and Maggie Allen. She worked as a healthcare provider. Beree is survived by three brothers and five sisters, Robert Allen, Jr (Sharond), Anthony Allen, Monte Allen(Sasha), Barbara Allen, Peggie Vaughan, Janice Mason (Ronald), Alice Allen and Diane Dekoladenu (William); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

William "Bro" Augburn Jr., 67, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Riverside Hospital. He was born in Halifax County, N.C. and moved to Virginia shortly thereafter. He was a graduate of Warwick High School Class of 1973, an Army veteran and proud soldier.
