MONAHAN Sally the wife for 22 years of Dan Monahan and daughter of John and Mary Lee McGinnis died on May 19, 2006 at the age of 49. Sally is the loving mother of Kyle 21, John 18, and Diana 14; sister to Molly (Dave) Barth, John (Shelley), Connie (David) Flynn, Joe (Sandy), Kathleen (Doug) Tucker, Mary (Jerry) Eilerman, and Erin (Tony) Cline. She will be missed by 19 nieces and nephews. Sally, a 10 year survivor of breast cancer, was actively involved in the deaf community as a counselor at St. Rita School for the Deaf. She taught American Sign Language at Xavier University and was often seen around town signing at church services, The Playhouse in the Park, and other public events.
