TIMOTHY JOCHEM Obituary

Tim was born in Pomona on April 29, 1967 and entered his heavenly home on January 18, 2011. He attended Pomona schools, graduating from Pomona High School. He began working part-time for the Upper San Gabriel Water District as a meter reader and was attending Cal State Fullerton, receiving his BA in Civil Engineering. He continued moving to more responsible positions, eventually becoming the Assistant Water Manager in San Gabriel. He worked in that position for a number of years while he pursued his Masters Degree from the University of La Verne. He and his family moved from Yorba Linda to Carlsbad and he was hired by the Lucadia Water District as District Manager. He stayed in this position until the Upper San Gabriel Water District offered him the position of District Water Manager and he remained there until his death. He leaves two children, Lindsey and Grant of Carlsbad, Mother, Shirley Jochem of La Verne, sister Debra Skoniecki of Shingletown, brothers Tod of La Verne, and Dennis of Costa Mesa. He was preceded in death by his Father, Charles and Grandparents, Glenn and Edna Stevens, of Pomona. A Memorial Service will be held at Rock of the Foothill Lutheran Church, 4630 Wheeler Avenue (corner of Baseline and Wheeler) on February 5th, at 11:00 am. Luncheon immediately following.
