Bruce Wynn

Bruce Weston Wynn Obituary Bruce Weston Wynn, beloved husband, proud father and grandfather, and true friend to so many, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Bruce was born to Sidney and Marajen Wynn in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 11, 1945. After growing up in Milwaukee, Bruce graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and then earned his MBA from the University of Missouri where he met his soulmate, Ellen. After school, Bruce and Ellen settled in Milwaukee where they raised their three children, Amy, Scott and Robin. Bruce had a career in fixed income investing – first as a bond trader at Prudential Bache and then as a financial advisor at the company he founded in 1991, Wynn Capital Management. Bruce enjoyed his career in the bond market, was deeply trusted by long standing clients, respected by his peers, and truly an expert in his field. Bruce is survived by his devoted wife Ellen, of 54 years, and his children Amy Rich, Scott Wynn, and Robin and Jonathan Saikin; grandchildren Lindsay, Carly and Noah Rich and Haley and Blake Saikin, who all treasured their “Pop Pop”. He is also survived by his brother Randy (Beth, z”l) Wynn, sister-in-law Suzette (Gregory, z”l) Wynn, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws Carol and Joseph Skrysak, John and Donna Goulet and numerous nieces and nephews who all adored their Uncle Bruce. Though Bruce and Ellen were “snowbirds” flocking to Arizona later in life, Bruce always cherished his native Wisconsin: summers at Camp Timberlane, water skiing with his brothers on Beaver Lake, eating at both Kopp’s and Solly’s, enjoying Millie’s sausages and cream puffs at the Wisconsin State Fair, and playing weekend golf. In Ellen, he found his perfect match who shared his passions, and together they played thousands of rounds of golf (he had several holes in one!), were “foodies” before such a word existed, and made lifelong friends far and wide. But above all other passions, Bruce cherished being a grandfather. He logged thousands of airline miles traveling across the country to be with his grandkids on all birthdays, graduations, sporting events, mitzvahs, and other special occasions. Bruce lived a wonderful life filled with joy and laughter. He loved to be surrounded by his devoted family and friends. He was the greatest storyteller (mostly true), he had the best nicknames and sayings (mostly appropriate), he was always optimistic and tender-hearted, Bruce never ever sweat the small stuff (or the big stuff), and he personified the phrase “eat, drink, and be merry”. He will be sorely missed and never forgotten. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 5 at 11:00. Mt. Sinai Cemetery 24210 N. 68th Street (off E. Pinnacle Peak Road) Scottsdale, Arizona.
