Jasper Thomas Richie

Jasper Thomas Richie was born in Stephens County, Georgia to the late Styles Richie, Sr and Almeda Drake Richie.  He joined Cleveland C.M.E. Church in Toccoa, GA at an early age. He departed this life at Oconee Memorial Hospital. At the time of death, Jasper was survived by his mother, three sisters (Lurenia, Mable, and Burcie), and three bothers (Howard, Henry, and Styles Jr.).

 Jemimia Richie was the 7th child out of 14th children and 4th girl born to Dennis and Ludella Richie.  Per research with FamilySearch.com and Ancestery.com, Gemimia was also known as Jemima, Mima, Mimie, and Mamie.  Research shows Jemimia was married but no name of husband.  Her last name was Simpson when she died at the age of 32.

Johnnie Mae Richie was born August 12, 1959 in Stephens County, and departed this life due to a sudden illness on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA. She was a member of the Broad River Baptist Church for many years, and later attended Cleveland CME Church.  She was a graduate of Stephens County High School and served three years in the United States Army.  Later in life, Johnnie Mae resided at Mountain View Health Care in Clayton, Georgia due to an illness.

Katie Jackson Richie was born in Toccoa, Georgia (Stephen County).  Her homegoing was on Saturday, August 16 2013 at Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church in Toccoa, Georgia.  Reverend Anthony Scott officiated Kate's homegoing at 3:00 pm.  Kate married Howard Richie and to this union seven children (Donnie, Dedgra, Vincent, Valencia, Atletha, James, Kimberly) were born.

Ludella was married to Dennis Richie and in this union they had 14 children. Mable Richie

Mable Richie was born on June 21, 1934 in Toccoa, Georgia to the late Styles, Sr and Almeda Richie. She was preceded in death by parents; one sister Gladis Rosella Richie, and five brothers James Hurbert, Drake, Jasper, Henry, and Howard.  Mable accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Cleveland CME Church in Toccoa, Georgia.  She graduated from Whitman Hgh School and later moved to Detroit, Michigan where she lived for several years.

Memorial Services for Mrs. Mary Ann Cowan Richie, age 71 of Morgan Place, Toccoa, GA. was held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the Reach Out Time Chapel, Martin, Ga. The family received friends from 6-7:00 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2024 at the funeral home.
