Barbara (Bobbie Sue) Richie (Pittman)
1939-10-05 2002-10-25Barbara "Bobbie Sue" Pittman Richie was the daughter of the late Deacon L.C. Pittman, Sr and Irene Law Pittman. She was married to Henry Richie and they had four children (Henrietta Richie Hawes, Charles Richie, Bernard Richie, Julius Richie). Barbara was a member of the Rogers Chapel Baptist Church for many years. She was the president of the Rogers Chapel Senior choir and the president of the Pastor's Aid. She was an original member of the Lighthouse Gospelettes. Barbara retired from Wilkins Industries after 33 years. At the time of death, Barbara had 7 grandchildren.<...

Eliza E. Reese
1941-05-19 2004-08-18Eliza Reese departed this life at Athens Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lottie Lou Reese. She joined Cleveland C.M.E. Church at an early age. She was a member of the Sunday School class and a member of the Ladies Missionary.

Ricky "Rocky" Reese
1958-10-17 2010-03-10Rocky Ricky Reese was born in Stephens County, Georgia on October 17, 1958. He departed this life on March 10, 2010 at his home. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Thornton of the home; and one ste-father, Earnest Thornton. He also leaves: two brothers, Jimmy Reese and Raymond Reese of Toccoa, Georgia; two sisters, Linda Thornton and Brenda Thornton of Seneca, South Carolina; one aunt, Annie Boyd of Toccoa; and a host of cousins and friends.

David Reese was born in Stephens County, Georgia to the late Lawrence and Lottie Lee Richie Reese. He passed away at his home. He was a member of Cleveland C.M.E. Church and worked at Morgan Concrete Company as a truck driver for many years. Left to cherish his memory, a devoted companion, Frances Wiley.

Henry Richie

Henry was the first born and first son born to Dennis and Loudella Richie. He had 13 brothers and sisters: Beatrice, Mary, Georgia, Styles, Jade, Gemimia, Meggie, William, Bessie, Hubert, Lottie Lou, Alberta, Olivia.

Hurbert Richie
1910-10-25 1992-08-21Hubert Richie was born in Stephens County to the late Dennis & Loudella Burton Richie. He was a member of Cleveland C.M.E. Church where he served faithfully. He was married to the late Mary Thornton Richie. Hurbert has six children (Lonnie Joe Richie, Hattie Williamson, Pauline Witt, Weldon Richie, Jessie Martin, and Jean Ramsey); numerous grandchildren and great-granchildren. He can be remembered for his love of music and for rendering music for several church choirs and gospel groups in the Northeast GA area.

Jasper Thomas Richie
1923-06-12 1987-06-10Jasper Thomas Richie was born in Stephens County, Georgia to the late Styles Richie, Sr and Almeda Drake Richie. He joined Cleveland C.M.E. Church in Toccoa, GA at an early age. He departed this life at Oconee Memorial Hospital. At the time of death, Jasper was survived by his mother, three sisters (Lurenia, Mable, and Burcie), and three bothers (Howard, Henry, and Styles Jr.).

Henry Albert "Fuzz" Richie
1936-04-05 2003-12-23Henry A. Richie was born to Almeda and Styles Richie of Seneca, SC. Henry known as "Fuzz" traveled with his musical abilities playing the piano and guitar when he met and married Barbara Pittman Richie and the moved to Athens, GA. Henry had four children (Julius Richie, Bernard Richie Charles Richie and Henrietta Richie Hawes). Henry was a lead guitar palyer for soul singer James Brown for several years. He was an original member of the Lighthouse Singers and former pianist of the Lighthouse Gospelettes.
