1967-06-22 2023-05-31It is with a mix of sorrow and fond remembrance that we announce the passing of Wendy Spencer, who departed from this world on May 31, 2023. Wendy, a cherished daughter, sister, mother, aunt and friend, leaves behind a complex tapestry of emotions in the hearts of those who loved her.
Born on June 22, 1967, Wendy began her journey in life as a devoted mother, showering her three daughters, Brittany, Alycia and Courtney, with love and affection. In their early years, she was a beacon of joy and fun, creating adventurous memories that will be forever cherished.
However, as life unfolded, Wendy enountered hardships and lost her way, struggling with the challengs that life presented. Though her path grew difficult, it is important to remember the person Wendy was in her earlier years and the happiness she brought to those around her. Her free spirit left an indelible mark on the lives she touched during that time, and we are choosing to remember the moments of love, laughter, and happiness she shared with those closest to her. Wendy is survived by her sister, Susie, her two brothers, Robert and Dennis, and many nieces and nephews.
Additionally, Wendy had six grandchildren whom she didn't have the chance to know but would have undoubtedly adored. Although their paths did not intersect, the potential for love and joy between them remains a poignant reminder of what could have been.
Preceding Wendy in death were her beloved father, Paul L. Spencer Jr., and her mother, Carol Rosalie Spencer. It is comforting to imagine that they now spend time together, fishing, camping, and relaxing at the lake.
Wendy's affection extended beyond her human family; she had a dog whom she loved deeply. Through the ups and downs of life, this loyal friend provided unwavering companionship, offering a source of comfort in Wendy's journey.
